Collision Detection (Without Physics)

I’ve been relying on physics engines like Box2D and Unity in-built physics for quite a long time now. However, since what I’m working on is pretty lightweight, I felt that adding rigidbodies and colliders was a little overkill for what I needed. Here’s a result of some working collision detection using the bounds of the sprites and a little bit of tile map checking.
